The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye paid a timely visit to the recuperating President Buhari who had been away in London. This occurred on Friday, August 18 at the Abuja House in London.

Hours later, President Buhari via his twitter handle profusely thanked the man of GOD for deeming it fit to visit and pray with him. Buhari tweeted saying “I thank Pastor Adeboye for visiting today, and for his prayers and good wishes. May God continue to bless him and his good  work.”

Meanwhile,the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has been quoted by THISDAY saying that, “It is a show of goodwill from a man of Adeboye’s standing, one of Times Magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world, who is the leader of millions of Christian faithful across the world.

“His visit to Buhari is also significant because the man had been erroneously tagged a religious bigot. This visit shows Buhari’s acceptability across all faith.”

This visit came just 24 hours before the President was expected back in the country after been away for 102 days to get treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
