Trump appoints new communications Director

The President of the United States of America has appointed his longtime aide, Hope Hicks to temporarily serve as White House director of communications pending when a permanent person is found for the job, according to an official of the White House.

Her appointment is one of the latest reshuffling in Mr Trump’s staff at the White House. The role of the director of communications is to ensure clarity and unambiguity when passing information from the White House.

Ms Hicks, 28 will serve in that capacity even as her current title in Mr Trump’s administration is director of strategic communications. She previously served as a spokeswoman for Mr Trump during his presidential campaign. She will be filling the vacancy left by Anthony Scaramucci who held sway for just 10 days.
