Buhari had been away on medical leave in U.K since May 7. This was the second spell as he had also been away between January and March 2017 for health related issues as well.
Prominent people such as Pastor Adeboye, the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki were in London over the past weeks to check up on his condition.
The Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo had been Acting President during President Buhari’s furlough.
It is expected that his return will signal a final stop to his incessant health troubles as worried Nigerians have questioned his clinging to office.
If he is able to see his tenure through, it remains to be seen how his seemingly health woes will affect his re-election bid should he decide to run for a second term.
