Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has insisted that President Buhari went into a coma whilst in London in July, this year.

He made this claim on Wednesday in Ado-Ekiti saying he had no regrets for his scathing comments on the President’s health status.

Governor Fayose also refuted a statement claiming he would commit suicide if Buhari returns to Nigeria.

He is quoted by Bellanaija, an online news site as saying “Let me tell you expressly, why would I commit suicide? I cannot commit suicide because of my mother. Even if they are burying my mother now, I will cleverly stay away from the grave so that I won’t fall into it. I can’t commit suicide because of Buhari. I never said that and will never make such statement.”

On the postponement of the Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council meeting, Fayose said it is more reason why the President Buhari needs to retire to his country home in Daura and hand over power to a more capable person
