The UEFA Champions League, yesterday in Monaco released the group draws for Europe’s top clubs who will be competing in the 2017/18 edition.
Real Madrid, the defending champions and 12-time winner of the title since its inception in 1955 are faced with a daunting task of going through the group stages as they have Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur to contend with.
Barcelona have been drawn in Group D with Juventus who lost the title to Real Madrid in the 2016/17 final of the competition whilst Chelsea is to contend with Roma and Athletico in Group C.
Manchester United are relatively in a much easier group as they go head-to-head Benfica, Basel and CSKA Moskva in Group A.
