The police command in Kogi state has revealed that 30 kidnappers, armed robbers and perpetrators of other offences have been arrested.
The Kogi State Commissioner of police, Wilson Inalegwu reportedly made this known while briefing journalists in Lokoja.

He said necessary security measures are been put in place to ensure hitch-free Sallah celebrations across the state and safe passage for those that will ply their roads to other destinations.
Mr Wilson also mentioned that the Kwara state police command had join hands with them to strengthen their force.
Many will recall that numerous kidnapping cases had been reported in Kogi state in recent times making the state a death trap for many but the commissioner has declared a drastic decrease in such occurrences as proactive measures have been taken to curtail and prevent future kidnapping and armed robbery incidents.
He is, however beseeching the public to utilize the phone-in programmes created by the command on NTA Lokoja which is aired every Thursday and on Grace Fm Lokoja, every Saturday by divulging necessary information that can assist the command in crime prevention and control.
