The Governor of Akwa Ibom, Udom Gabriel Emmanuel has received applause after the announcement via twitter of the attainment of 18 hours uninterrupted power supply daily in the state.

The tweet also hinted at the fact that some local governments within will soon have a peak supply of 24 hours power supply daily.
