Bauchi State Police Command has disclosed that it has deployed 2,900 to various strategic parts of the State to ensure high security during Eid-el-Kabir, and a hitch-free celebration.

The Commissioner said that the Command was taking the appropriate steps to prevent any breakdown of law and order within the State during the festive period.

The State Commissioner of Police, Sanusi Lemu, who spoke through the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kamal Abubakar, said that the Command had designed an operation order that will ensure the deployment of Officers to patrol flashpoints that have been identified for violence and criminality across the State.
