Governor Mohammed Jibrilla of Adamawa State has assured the Igbo community in the State of their safety.
The Governor gave this assurance when the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Abubakar Malami, paid him a courtesy call in his Office.
“We will like to assure Igbo residents in the State of their safety, despite the growing tension in parts of the South-East States,” he said.
The Attorney-General was in Adamawa State for the Attorney-General and State Commissioners of Justice Summit holding in Yola, the State Capital.
Governor Jibrilla said that if there was no peace, the summit would not hold in Yola. He thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for restoring peace in the North-East.
