Manchester United’s Paul Pogba is to miss a couple of matches due to a hamstring injury he sustained during Man Utd’s UEFA Champions League match against FC Basel.

This was after he had been earlier named the captain of the team but had to be substituted in the first half due to a muscular problem.
Announcing his unavailability for Sunday’s match against Everton, the manager Jose Mourinho stated that the France international may miss other subsequent matches but added that this was an opportunity for other players in the team capable of replacing him to prove their selfs worthy.
In the match against FC Basel, Pogba was replaced by Marouane Fellaini and the Belgian showed his worth, scoring the opening goal and assisting Marcus Rashford later on.
