The Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, has appealed to Nigerians to live in peace with one another.
The Sultan urged Nigerians not to allow the actions of some people to divide the nation, and that the bad eggs should be cautioned by their elders and community leaders.
He urged elder statesmen to call the youth to order for a peaceful coexistence in their communities. He also encouraged traditional leaders to continue to preach love throughout the country.
Alhaji Abubakar further explained that Nigeria was brought together by an act of God, and that God would protect the sovereignty. He encouraged Nigerians to live in peace and respect one another.
