The seemingly funny yet dangerous movie-like scenarios that play out on our roads in Nigeria portray the negligence of appropriate authorities in curbing these harmful and sometimes fatal occurrences.

A Nissan bus used for transporting passengers along Ekehuan road in Benin-city, the capital of Edo state on Wednesday, September 20 had its entire sliding-door falling off while it sped along the busy tarmac as onlookers watched in sheer amazement.

After stopping to fix the door to no avail, the driver, bus conductor and passengers zoomed off with the door precariously placed on the vehicle’s rooftop.
