A young girl between the ages of 3-6 died recently in Lagos State as a result of the ongoing strike in the healthcare system of the country.

A sad and concerned Nigerian who experienced the incident first hand took to his/her Instagram page to express his/her bitterness and pain as a result of the Nation’s failed healthcare system.

He/she wrote:

“…this little child died because of a failed health system. There was no defibrillator in the whole of the children’s ward…not one(I was there myself, I asked for it…What kind of Country can’t save a baby that had ear infection since last week Tuesday…Please end this deadly strike, find a lasting solution to this failed sector…”
