As Chelsea suffered their second league defeat of the Season on Saturday, Chelsea Coach, Antonio Conte, has disclosed that he was ‘pleased with the commitment’ from his players in the course of the match.
Chelsea lost the match to a second half strike from Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne.
Despite seeing his players outclassed tactically, the Italian expressed that he was happy with how the players committed themselves to the cause.
Conte said “I’m happy with the commitment from my players. They had the will to fight against a strong team.
It is logical. When you play three games in seven days, you risk something. I hope it is not a serious injury for Morata.”
With this defeat, Chelsea remains on 13 points after seven games.
