The Management of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) announces the sudden death of its Northeast Zonal Coordinator Alhaji Abdulsalam Muhammed who died today in Maiduguri, Borno State.

A statement by the agency’s head of media and public relations Sani Datti, said the deceased   was redeployed to Maiduguri about three weeks ago to take charge of the Northeast zonal office after having served in the North central zone, Jos Plateau State in the same capacity.

Director General of NEMA Mustapha Maihaja has expressed shock over the sudden death. He prayed to Allah to forgive his soul and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
