While it may have become a norm for men and women all over the world to move around with tattoos covering their bodies, apparently, something is still seen as being wrong with it in Nigeria, with many cases of people being harassed for having tattoos.

Such was the case of Abdulkareem Thompson who claimed to have been arrested by Policement three times in Ogun State just for having tattoos.

Thompson made this claim in an Instagram post, calling out the Nigerian Police for arresting people with tattoos and making them pay N10,000 to get released. He revealed that he had paid N30,000 in total.
