In January, controversial Prophet, Patrick Phillip Mugadza, said that President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe would die on October 17, 2017.

According to the Prophet, who is the Leader of Remnant Pentecostal Church, God told him on 26^th December, 2016, that the 92-year-old President would not see the end of 2017.

He was subsequently arrested and jailed for 55 days for his prophecy. However, he said that he was misunderstood, and that Mugabe would only die if he did not turn to God.

Today, Mugadza has claimed to have received a fresh message from God, saying that the President’s death had been postponed to a later date.

“About three days ago, I received word from God saying the death of President Mugabe has been postponed to a later date which is not specified,” the Prophet said.
