A certain young man jumped into the Lagos Lagoon from the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge on Friday afternoon.

According to report, the incident happened at about 11am. The man got to the bridge, removed his clothes, and jumped into the lagoon.

Passersby searched the pockets of his clothes, found a phone and two ATM cards. They were able to get through to a lady who said that she was his wife.

Officials of the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA), Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and Marine Police were seen searching for him.
