More than 10,000 members of the All Progressives’ Congress (APC), which is the current ruling Party of Nigeria, have reportedly defected to the People’s Democratic Party in Bauchi.

This multitude held a march in which they reportedly carried a coffin with ‘APC RIP’ written boldly on it.

In light of this, some Nigerians have expressed optimism, saying that Nigerians have ‘opened their eyes’ while some others are still sceptical about the whole development.
