The annual convention of the Redeemers Men’s Fellowship (RMF) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Abia Province III, has come to an end with a call on men to re-position themselves in all spheres of life.
In a sermon entitled Repositioning Men to Do Exploits in the Community and Local Environment, Pastor in charge of Province (PICP) Abia Province 3, Umuahia, Pastor Olaniyan Tosin, noted that a congregation of happy families engendered church growth and peaceful communities.
He said for any community or society to remain in active existence, the power force (men) of such community and society must gather together periodically to brainstorm on the way forward.
“Repositioning men in this our dispensation for greater exploits in the Lord is a good pointer to unending joy and peace in our homes, families, finances, health and overall church growth,” he stated.
Interacting with newsmen shortly after the convention, the president, RMF, Abia Province 3, Deacon Kingsley Okehielem, said the convention was to “bring men together, make them worship God and fear Him and make them to relate to other men positively.”
In separate speeches, Pastor Peter Ogbonnaya; Pastor Godwin Ngozi Oriaku, and the RCCG Assistant Regional Youth Pastor, Pastor Olunkwa Ifeanyi, pointed out that the convention was designed to reposition men in the work of God, so that they would play their roles effectively and efficiently as husbands, fathers, and as true Christians.
