Barring any last minute changes, President Buhari is expected to make a surprise visit to Taraba state to commisserate with the government and people of the state over the fresh attacks that happened over the weekend.
About 20 persons were killed and 300 cows stolen in a fresh outbreak of ethnic violence on the Mambilla Plateau in Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State. The crisis erupted in Nyiwa and Yerimaru areas on Thursday as a result of a misunderstanding between a farmer and a herder over a piece of land.
President Buhari, according to Vanguard, is expected to make a surprise visit to the state today.
