The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will begin distribution of permanent voter’s cards (PVCs) from May 21. The commission however said this is for people who registered between April and December last year, as well as those who applied for transfer and others who applied for replacement of lost or damaged PVCs.
INEC Director of Voter Education and Publicity (VEP), Oluwole Osaze-Uzzi, in a statement yesterday, said this was part the decisions reached at the meeting between the commission’s management and Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) on Thursday. The statement directed those concerned to report to INEC offices in local government area where they registered with their temporary voter’s card, for collection.
