The lawmaker representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, was at the Senate chamber this morning. He signed the attendance register and left.
However, he is now in the Senate chamber, where the lawmakers are now in a closed-door session which began shortly after President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, said the opening prayers.
The lawmaker, who was absent on Tuesday when he said he was resuming, had told The Punch exclusively that he would be at the Senate on Wednesday (today).
“(I) Will be at plenary tomorrow, God will,” a text message in response to our correspondent’s enquiry on his absence on Tuesday read.
