Mrs Khadija Ibrahim, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, has resigned her appointment from President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet.
Ibrahim is resigning from her ministerial position to contest in the February 16 House of Representatives election in her home-state, Yobe.
She defeated her son-in-law, Mohammed Bukar Abba Ibrahim to emerge flag bearer of House of representative seat for Damaturu/Tarmuwa/Gujba/Gulani constituency of Yobe State last year’s October at the All Progressive Congress (APC) the primary election.
