Why Buhari created Economic Advisory Council – Osinbajo finally speaks

Osinbajo stated this at a meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) at the State House on Thursday, September 19, Daily Trust reports. Yahaya said the vice president gave the explanation following the request by governors for clarification on the relationship between the NEC and EAC. This came after mixed reactions trailed President Muhammadu Buhari’s constitution of the Economic Advisory Council to replace the Economic Management Team (EMT) headed by Osinbajo.
