The factional office of the All Progressives Congress in Kaduna State led by Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi was on Tuesday demolished.
Our correspondent learnt that the one-storey building on 11B Sambo Road, was pulled down amidst tight security about 5am.
On Thursday, the factional APC, ‘APC Akida’ and the ‘Restoration APC’ unveiled the office, saying that they had to stay away from the headquarters of the party along Ali Akilu road to avoid the activities of thugs.
Less than 24 hours after it was unveiled, the office was defaced with a red paint but the party officials moved on unperturbed as they used the facility on Sunday to announce the suspension of the state governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai for six months.
However, on Monday, the suspension was overturned by the party executives loyal to the governor, claiming that the Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi-led faction had no such powers.
