Acquiring knowledge has become an integral part of our lives. Right from our cradle, learning has been a process.
As you grow older, learning becomes synonymous to acquiring academic knowledge in a vast number of areas. And so, from Primary to Secondary and usually culminating in Tertiary education pursuits, the cycle continues.
What each and everyone ends up doing with these series of accrued knowledge is another matter entirely and not up for enumeration today.
Today, learning or acquiring knowledge has been made easier to come by, by the technological advancement around us, made possible specifically by the emergence of the computer.
Learning has evolved from just been in the four walls of a classroom to individuals sitting in the comforts of their home and devouring tons of knowledge, skills and more.
MOOC – which stands for Massive Open Online Courses has become the rave of the moment. Millions of people today engage in learning processes that cut across race, age, geographic locations, social status. Just name it.
At the forefront of platforms that offer these services is COURSERA. Founded in 2012 by Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller, Coursera offers over 2000 courses from schools such as Yale, Stanford and other schools cutting across 29 countries.
Courses in the fields of Business, Management, General science, Data science, Photography, Engineering, Mathematics, Social sciences, Music, Arts, Psychology, Theology, Leadership skills, MS-package skills and countless more are available on Coursera.
Other sources of MOOCs include Udemy,edX, Udacity, Xuetang and many more. But Coursera stands out from most of them because many of its courses are free, come with certificates, basically requires you simply signing up with a valid email address, your time, internet data and what I have to say in the next paragraph..
So now, what if you find out that the course you are interested in taking on Coursera requires you paying a certain amount of dollars. The question is what are your options if the course you are interested in taking requires payment?
I have good news for you. Coursera offers what it calls Financial Aid for most of its paid courses. All they need for you is to answer certain questions and verify your identity and bingo – two weeks after sending in your application, you are granted access. After the duration of the course, you are handed a certificate which you can put on your resume or Curriculum Vitae. Imagine doing 10 of such courses in a year and watch how your career will skyrocket beyond your imagination.
I am a living testimony of what I just stated above. Between November 2017 and March 2018, I have acquired 5 certificates all funded by the team at Coursera.org. Each of them cost averagely $50 dollars which amounts to a total sum of ₦90,000 in naira equivalent. (Check out this links to view some of my certificates between 2015 and present;

You are only a step way from all these as all you need is a one-time assistance from me and you will be on the path to earn many verified certificates at your own pace and will.
I have come to realize, our world will be a better place if we learn needed skills and innovative ways of doing things every day and that is why I have decided to share this with you. Tell others about these opportunities. Everyone may not have the opportunity of going overseas to further their education for one reason or the other. But you can still tap from the living waters of knowledge available on that
other side whilst you are here in Nigeria and get recognition for it.
