The Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Barrister Abdullah Muhammad Mukhtar, disclosed that 81,200 Nigerians had arrived the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Hajj.
He disclosed this at the Pre-Arafat Stakeholders Conference, at Al-Raqiyyah Hall, Ring Road, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Barrister Abdullah urged all stakeholders not to rest on their oars as all hands must be on deck to ensure a hitch-free exercise and make sure that all pilgrims successfully carry out the Hajj rites and return home safely.
The peak of the Hajj rite, the Arafat Day, comes up on Thursday, and this number of Nigerians has joined other Muslims across the world to observe it. The Eid-Kabir Celebration comes up on Friday, 1st September, 2017.
