Leadership of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has condemned what it termed “nepotistic” tendencies in the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. In a statement made available to journalists in Enugu yesterday and signed by Comrade Uchenna Madu (leader of MASSOB), the pro-Biafra group accused President Buhari of promoting “Islamic fundamentalism”.
“The people of Biafra, Middle-Belt and Oduduwa have watched, seen and experienced the unleashing of terrorists and genocidal wars by Buhari’s armed foot soldiers with the backing of Nigeria’s security council manned by Buhari’s kinsmen against the armless and innocent citizens of Biafra, Oduduwa and Middle-Belt,” MASSOB said.
The group said that the consciousness for survival of the people of Biafra, Oduduwa and Middle-Belt had been reawakened and charged for self-defence and self-determination.
