In a new post on Instagram some hours ago, the screen star disclosed that he has opted out of this 2019 presidential ambitions and announced that he is withdrawing from the race.
He wrote: “After due consideration & consultations, I will no longer run for President of Nigeria, 2019.
“To my supporters, worry not. I remain committed to building a new Nigeria that works for all, irrespective of class, tribe or religion.
Together we shall achieve it. God bless.”
Yul who has been active in politics for a long while said he made the decision to step down from his presidential bid after proper considerations and consultations.
Before taking a plunge at the federal level, the politician had earlier joined the gubernatorial race for Anambra state which was held in 2017.
