The Speaker of the Zimbabwean Parliament, Jacob Mudenda, ordered police to send out opposition legislators, who had refused to stand up when President Emmerson Mnangagwa arrived at the parliament.
Mnangagwa had been at the Parliament to present the 2019 budget when the incident happened on Thursday.
A Twitter user, Garikai Fadzi @gariefadzi shared videos of the moment, police came in to force the legislators out and also when the lawmakers left of their own volition.
At a point in one of the videos, lawmakers could be heard chanting, Chamisa, which is the name of the opposition leader in the country.
