It has been officially declared that the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) Meeting will not hold on 6^th September, 2017.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, made this known, saying that the reason it will not hold, is that the two-day Public Holiday declared for the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations deprived the Ministers adequate time to prepare the documents for the Meeting.

In the meeting held last week, the Federal Government approved the Mambilla Hydro Project that will be handled by a consortium of Chinese companies at a cost of $5.79 billion.
