Enugu Police vows to stamp out crimes

The Enugu State Police Command has vowed to continue the fight against crime and criminality at Adani and Nimbo, in a bid to ensure safety and peace in Uzouwani Local Government Area of the State.

In a statement issued by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amaraizu, the Command said that it would leave no stone unturned in the fight, claiming significant success in raiding the popular notorious criminal hideout called the “Malaysia Forest” and arresting notorious armed robbery suspects.

 

He also said that the Command arrested two notorious criminals, Jonathan Okeagu and Simon Enejere, last week.

 

These criminals had been on the Command’s “Wanted” list for a while.

 

Amaraizu also disclosed that Jonathan Okeagu had been convicted some time ago because of his criminal activities in the area.
