During the early hours of Friday morning, a shocking incident – Sinkhole- occurred in Cross Rivers State which under any normal circumstance could result into the loss of lives.

The Calabar Ikom highway by big Iwuru experienced an almost devastating incident as the road suddenly sunk in.

Eye witnesses said it was an ‘act of God’ as they have never seen anything like it before. No accident was however recorded as motorists did everything possible to avoid that part of the road.
