President Muhammadu Buhari has assured the populace that the upcoming elections in Anambra will be free and fair.

The Nigerian President made this assertion when the Governor, Willie Obiano vying for another term in office paid a visit to the State House, Abuja to meet with the president on October 3.

The President is quoted saying “Today I received Governor Obiano at the State House. The Federal and State Governments will work together to ensure free and fair elections next month.”

The election which has been scheduled on hold in November 18, has Governor Obiano contesting on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA) party.
