A Nigerian man, identified as Adefolahan Lanre, has taken to his Instagram handle to share pictures of how some parts of his car got stolen at a mall in Surulere, Lagos.
Lanre, popularly referred to as @shaggysharp (and whose Instagram username echoes same), explained that he went shopping at Leisure mall, Surulere, but, on getting back to where his vehicle was parked, discovered that the side mirrors had been stolen.
He further narrated how he was insulted by the the Security Officers on duty when he requested for the CCTV footage in an attempt to know who had committed the crime.
The man took pictures of his car, and took to Instagram to notify the general public. He put a caption to explain how the Security Officials insulted him, and warned the general public that their cars were no longer safe at Leisure mall Car Park.
With that, other Nigerians who are familiar with the Shopping Mall in Surulere have come out to pass all sorts of negative comments about the Security Officers and staffs of the Mall.
A certain Emeka Umeh said: “As far as Nigeria is concerned, what he did is the best thing he can do, unless he knows the owner or manager of that mall, then he can deal with the security men.
When you call police, they will tell you to open a case with 20k, after so much gragra at the mall, they will collect money from them and release them. The funniest part is that those side mirrors cost around 12k.”
