Civil servants in Ekiti state will from Friday oct0ber 13th 2017 receive their salaries for the month of May, this is according to the state governor Ayodele Fayose who on Thursday gave approval for the payment of the salaries.

The approval for the payment of the workers’ salaries is in celebration of the releases of the state commissioner for finance Toyin Ojo and the accountant general Yemisi Owolabi who returned to the state after they were released unconditionally by the economic and financial crimes commission(EFCC).

The two government officials were received by the governor and the workers in ado Ekiti, the state capital.
