A son of ousted Islamist President, Mohammed Morsi, has been sentenced to three years imprisonment by an Egyptian Court.
Morsi’s son, Osama Morsi, was sentenced for possessing a penknife without licence. However, his Lawyer denied the charges, and claimed that Osama Morsi was set up after his quarrel with a Police Oficcer. He said that the way in which the young man was arrested, was not constitutional.
At the moment, Mohammed Morsi is serving a 20-year prison sentence over inciting deadly clashes between his supporters and opponents in 2012, and a 25-year jail term for leaking classified documents to Qatar.
