Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi ii has asked police officers wives to join the fight against illicit drugs consumption and rape  in the society.

The emir made the call when he received wife of Nigeria’s inspector general of police in his palace. the call is coming at a time a mobile policeman is accused of rapping a 14 year old girl.

The wife of the inspector general of police Asma’u Idris was in Kano to lunch campaign against drug abuse, child molestation and youth empowerment. she paid a homage to the emir to solicit his support and bless her endeavours.

Earlier, the wife of the inspector general lunch the environment campaign with theme ” barracks must go clean’ at Bompai police barrack.

The environment campaign was organised by Police Officers Wives Association (POWA).
