Scottish Professional Football Coach, David Moyes, has been confirmed as the new Manager of West Ham United, an English Football Club.
Moyes, who is a former Everton, Manchester United and Sunderland boss, was handed an initial six-month deal that will see him lead the club until the end of the season, after replacing Croatian Slaven Bilic who was sacked on Monday.
Bilic was sacked in the aftermath of a 4-1 defeat to Liverpool, and after managing to win only two games from 11 Premier League matches before leaving the Club in the relegation zone.
David Moyes is expected to resume his new duty ahead of his first match against Watford on 19th November.
In his unveiling video on West Ham’s Twitter account, Moyes said:
“I’m really looking forward to meeting the supporters, being in the stadium with them. I’m looking forward to seeing them getting right behind the Team and my Team also. We need the support, we need everyone with us.
“It’s a big job we have in hand now but I’m sure with everybody together we can get the right results between now and the end of the season.”
