According to a Statement released on Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s Facebook Page, the 21,000 Teachers who failed the Primary 4 competency test a few weeks ago can reapply if they believe that they are competent enough to teach in the State Schools.
The Statement was signed by the Chairman of the Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Nasiru Umar, and revealed that the Government was in the process of employing 25,000 Teachers.

“TEACHERS WHO FAILED THE COMPETENCY TEST CAN REAPPLY IN THE ONGOING TEACHERS RECRUITMENT EXERCISE.
Recruitment of 25,000 qualified teachers is still ongoing. Those who failed the primary 4 test should please know that they can reapply if they believe they are qualified to teach.
Submission of applications is scheduled to close on or before the 19th of November, 2017.
> Completed applications would be screened and shortlisted candidates to be invited for a written test on the 26th of November, 2017.
> Results of the written test to be submitted on the 27th of December, 2017.
> Selection of successful candidates to hold on the 2nd of January, 2018.
> Interview to be conducted from the 8th of January, 2018.
> Result of the interview and selection of successful applicants to be submitted on the 23rd of January, 2018.
> Issuance of temporary appointment letters to commence on the 25th of January, 2018.
